After returning home, Kang Chi found a piece of sodium ion electron removed from an oil extractor.
This thing has been hidden for a while. One reason is that he didn’t have time to do it at the time, and the other is that he was afraid of the collapse of the lithium battery industry. For a while, he didn’t think of what entry point to use to launch this technology.
However, as the pattern opened up, he also figured it out.
In fact, he doesn’t need to think so much. Even if this thing breaks the lithium battery and revolutionizes the traditional fuel car companies, there will be a new sodium battery industry rising and new new energy car companies appearing.
Or it is them who will complete this industrial transformation.
What he really needs to consider is the development prospects of this technology and what the bottleneck is.
When analyzing the oil extractor, Kang Chi actually obtained the technical information of this battery and knew that it was actually a semi-solid sodium ion battery. It was achieved by doping an oxide in the original liquid electrolyte to achieve an energy density of 300Wh/kg.
At that time, this battery was just a part of the oil extractor. The analysis only obtained technical information, but not specific processing technology.
However, what he has to do now is not to rush to obtain the processing technology, but to explore what the limit of the sodium battery is.
Kang Chi directly upgraded this battery.
General experience – 5000,
General experience – 15000,
[The item level has reached the upper limit]
So fast? After upgrading two levels in a row, Kang Chi unexpectedly discovered that the system had a pop-up window prompt that had never appeared before.
It turns out that the item level really has an upper limit.
However, this is also in line with Kang Chi’s previous speculation. After all, no matter what the technical route is, there must be a limit. For example, no matter how much the silicon-based semiconductor chip is upgraded, the 1.5-2 nanometer process physical limit is there. Although this system is awesome, it has never subverted the basic laws of physics so far.

500Wh/kg!
After seeing this number, Kang Chi couldn’t help but take a breath.
Although the level cap has been explained, the energy density of 500Wh/kg may be the limit of the sodium ion battery technology route.
But this energy density is already good enough!
Mastery Points -10.
Kang Chi immediately conducted a technical analysis of this battery.
With a large amount of information pouring into his mind, and with the knowledge reserve of level 4 sodium-ion batteries, Kang Chi quickly digested and understood the technical points of level 6 sodium-ion batteries.
The electrolyte of this sodium-ion battery has become pure solid, so it belongs to sodium-ion solid-state battery, and its composition includes high-priced sulfide MoS3, and… yttrium oxide! This is a bit of a scam.
The price of yttrium oxide in China is much cheaper than lithium carbonate, only 50,000-60,000 yuan per ton.
But once the demand comes up, the price will definitely surge.
The reason is very simple, it is a rare earth resource! As the first rare earth element discovered by humans, although yttrium oxide has a resource reserve of 220,000 tons in my country, accounting for 43% of the world’s total reserves, ranking first,
But compared with the global resource volume of 349 million tons of lithium carbonate, the global 510,000 tons of yttrium oxide can definitely be called a rare resource.
The reason why it is not expensive now is that its current demand is not high, and there are export controls.
Although the consumption of yttrium oxide is actually very small, only 0.5KG, to manufacture one ton of 6-level sodium-ion batteries.
According to the energy density of 6-level sodium-ion batteries, one ton = 500Kwh=0.5MWH=0.0005GWh. Taking CATL’s annual production capacity of 390GWh as an example, if a level 6 sodium-ion battery is produced, 390 tons of yttrium oxide will be consumed. The reserves of 220,000 tons seem to be able to be used for more than 500 years.
But the problem is that with the promotion of new energy and energy storage, the production capacity of batteries will definitely increase. It is enough for more than 500 years now, but it may be gone in a hundred years in the future.
And yttrium oxide is a rare earth after all. It is impossible to use it all to make batteries. It is too wasteful of resources and will definitely make sodium-ion batteries lose their biggest cost-effectiveness advantage.
So on the whole, it is okay to make a small scale in the early stage, but it is definitely not possible to make it on a large scale. The most cost-effective sodium-ion battery should be the level 5 with an energy density of 400Wh/kg.
Kang Chi took another level 4 sodium-ion battery and upgraded it to level 5. He spent 5 proficiency points to analyze it, and his conjecture was indeed verified.
Level 5 solid-state sodium-ion batteries do not use yttrium oxide.
It is the optimal solution for sodium-ion batteries!
Although analyzing the level 6 sodium-ion battery wasted 10 proficiency points, Kang Chi got the optimal solution and limit of the sodium-ion battery technology route, which can be regarded as a great harvest.
Kang Chi spent another 5 proficiency points to analyze the manufacturing process of the level 5 sodium-ion battery, and then @ed Yan Hui, Zhang Qing, Wang Haowen, Fang Qiming, He Yongbin, Ming Yuhan and other major company leaders in the group in the group executive group, asking them to bring the company’s main backbones to hold a group high-level meeting at Datang Heavy Industry the day after tomorrow morning.
After receiving the notice, everyone was a little surprised.
Kang Chi had never held such a meeting with the company’s senior executives before, so he was very curious about the purpose of Kang Chi holding this meeting.
Just as everyone was constantly guessing in their hearts, two days passed quickly. On June 1, the first high-level meeting of Longteng Technology Group was finally held in Dongyang.
After everyone met, they naturally exchanged pleasantries first, and then all their eyes were focused on Zhang Qing.
As the general manager of the group responsible for helping Kang Chi coordinate the group’s subsidiaries, everyone wondered if she had any inside information, but Zhang Qing just shook her head gently, indicating that she didn’t know what Kang Chi’s purpose of holding the meeting was.
”Is everyone here?”
Just when everyone was still discussing, Kang Chi’s voice suddenly came from the door, so everyone hurriedly stood up and greeted him.
”Mr. Kang.”
”Everyone is here, and we are all waiting for you.”
”…”
Kang Chi smiled at them, then waved his hand to signal everyone to sit down: “Thank you for making a special trip. Since everyone is here, let’s get started.”
”The purpose of asking everyone to come here this time is mainly to understand the business situation of each company, arrange the next tasks, and finally the establishment of new projects.”
Everyone nodded, which was similar to what they had guessed before.
Kang Chi first looked at Fang Qiming and He Yongbin and asked, “How is the delivery of camera business and mobile phone cameras? Is the pressure high?” Fang Qiming quickly reported, “Although there is a certain pressure, it is not a big problem. We have placed an order for three more production lines with Datang Heavy Industry, one of which is used for the manufacture of mid- and low-end mobile phone lenses, two are used to manufacture sights for the military, and some camera lens orders have been outsourced.” Kang Chi nodded, “Then you can add another lens and camera production line by the way.” “After completing the research and development of mid- and low-end mobile phone cameras, Director He immediately started to develop medium-format video cameras and lenses. I will send you the specific bayonet parameters and other rigid requirements tomorrow. Just like the last time we developed Wu’an, show me the prototype after it is built.” Medium-format video cameras and lenses! In fact, they had heard that Kang Chi had arranged a research and development task for high-end medium-format film-grade sensors when he accompanied Wang Haowen to Dahan Xinye to take office some time ago. Now that the project is finally about to be officially launched, Fang Qiming and He Yongbin can’t help but feel a little excited.
If this project is successful, it means that Daqin Optics has completed the encirclement of the island country’s digital camera giants from top to bottom. Then, as long as two more products are deployed in the middle, they can basically be wiped out!
