The reserves of 220,000 tons seem to be able to be used for more than 500 years.

  But the problem is that with the promotion of new energy and energy storage, the production capacity of batteries will definitely increase. It is enough for more than 500 years now, but it may be gone in a hundred years in the future.

  And yttrium oxide is a rare earth after all. It is impossible to use it all to make batteries. It is too wasteful of resources and will definitely make sodium-ion batteries lose their biggest cost-effectiveness advantage.

  So on the whole, it is okay to make a small scale in the early stage, but it is definitely not possible to make it on a large scale.   The most cost-effective sodium-ion battery should be the level 5 with an energy density of 400Wh/kg.
